Jason Loiselle

Jason is one of the founding members of Saoco. Although Jason has received no formal music training from a college or university, Jason possesses a diverse base of experience in many musical genres.

Recently, Jason has focused most of his efforts into Saoco while studying privately with the world renowned Afro-musicologist, Dr. Juma Santos. Jason is also currently the Technical Director of Music and Worship at the Bell Creek Community Church in Livonia, MI.

Before these endeavors, Jason was a member of Jazodity, a Detroit based acid jazz septet, where he played trombone for 4 years. He also played percussion and trombone with Ann Arbor based bands, Funktelligence, Epistophy, Vamos a Gozar and Drum Collective. Finally, Jason was a member of the 1993 Caviliers Drum and Bugle Corps from Rosemont, IL as well as the 1994 Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corp from Concord, CA.
